He was 34 years old and probably was better off not being born at all since his life had to end so early with only some unspeakable massacres in his biography.
He was meeting in Aleppo Province near the Turk border with officers of his Liwaa' Al-Tawheed when BOOM!, a big bomb nearly vaporized him and his chief of intelligence, one Yusuf 'Abbaas (a/k/a Abu Tayyib). Also with them,'Abdul-'Azeez Salaama who unfortunately survived but with severe life-long injuries that will put him out of commission until we get the noose around his neck.
